xStream 40 Content

This guide provides the initial steps to set up and congure the xStream 40

Appliance.

The xStream 40 Appliance package has been designed to protect your appliance

during shipping. Carefully unpack the xStream 40 chassis, power cords, screws, and

cables and verify you have the following components:

• (1) xStream 40 device with Aggregation, Filtering or Load Balancing software

installed

• (2) Power cords

• (1) Cable, 3 Meter, RJ45, CAT 5e 4-Pair

• (1) DB9 to RJ45 cable, 6 ft.

• Screws and washers for rack mounting the device

• Documentation: Quick Install Guide (this document), CD containing the

xStream 40 User Guide and xStream 40 CLI Command Reference

• Registration instructions and Extended Warranty, if purchased

The SFP, SFP+ and QSFP modules are ordered and shipped separately.
